If it’s more than your weekly benefits, then you won’t get any unemployment benefits. That’s just the way it works.
They figure if you’re going to make money off to the side, then they don’t need to pay you, which is what unemployment benefits are supposed to do. They’re supposed to help you get along while you’re looking for a job.
Now, I understand they don’t pay much, but what they do pay, they want you to get by on it without another job.
Continue looking for your job and applying with employers and reporting it to the Oklahoma employment security commission.
You don’t have to take first job comes along, but you do need to look.
