Yes, You Can Go On Vacation While On Unemployment, But There Is A Caveat..

This question I got this week is, can I go on vacation while drawing unemployment? The quick answer to that is yes, but there is a caveat to that. In other words, you’ve still got to apply for jobs. You can apply over the internet, you can apply over the telephone, but you still have to apply for the jobs and you have to report that.

Even while you’re on vacation. So take that to heart because the main thing is you’ve got to report it. Just like I said in the last video, you’ve got to report on a weekly basis that you’re hunting for a job. They want to make sure that you’re trying to get a job. So have a happy vacation, but interview for the jobs or apply for the jobs while you’re on vacation. It’s important. Do not forget. Okay?
