With the shut-down of most businesses due to the Covid-19 crisis, Oklahomans are applying for unemployment in record numbers.
Because we are a law office that helps people who have been denied unemployment, we are also hearing from unprecedented numbers of people seeking help.
During this time, many of the people who contact us have not needed legal help. Many just want answers to questions about the unemployment process. In normal times, we routinely answer these questions, but we are currently unable to get around to everyone who has a general question about applying for unemployment.
We also help people fill out their unemployment application. We charge a nominal fee for this service. We typically offer help in situations where an employer might try to block someone’s unemployment claim.
If you are submitting a routine unemployment application, you most likely do not need an attorney’s help.
If you do need help filing out an unemployment claim, we can assist you for a nominal fee. If your claim is denied, we can file an appeal and you pay nothing more unless we win your appeal and you get your benefits.
